There is no greater desire for any of us – regardless of ability, background or ambition – to be recognised and understood for who we are, and to have our own dreams and hopes validated and encouraged in all their shapes and sizes.

My drive as an educator comes from an unwavering belief that it is our role to nurture, support, challenge and ultimately help all those in our care to not only accept who they are, but also what they can become.

I am currently a Vice Principal (and English teacher) at an all-through school.  I currently lead on standards across the school but I have previously led on learning and teaching, and CPD.  I am a strong advocate for improving the awareness and support available for all involved in education dealing with mental health issues.
